The final conference of the project held at the Russian National University of Science and Technology (MISIS) from September 30, 2019 to October 5, 2019 summarized the results of all 9 University members of the project, including: Technische Universität Bergakademie Freiberg – Germany – Project coordinator; Università degli studi di Torino (Dip. Scienze della Terra) – Italy; Montanuniversitaet Leoben – Austria; Platov South-Russian State Polytechnic University (Novocherkassk Polytechnic Institute) – Russia; North-Caucasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (State Technological University) – Russia; National University of Science and Technology Moscow “MISIS” – Russua; Ural State University of Mining – Russia; Graduate University of Science and Technology - Vietnam Academy of Science and Hanoi University of Mining and Geology (Vietnam). At the final Conference, project members assessed the performance of the project for 3 years (from October 2016 to October 2019), financial statements, discussed together to develop a final report.
After the Conference, universities members continued to update the implementation status of the project's work packages, including 3 major areas: Professional - content of the master's program in geology for oil and gas exploration at Russian and Vietnamese universities; On equipment - bidding documents and procurement of equipment and description of equipment purchased within the project framework; Financial - financial statements of each university serving EU audits.
This is the first Erasmus + KA2 - Capacity Building project to be joined by the Hanoi University of Mining and Geology, paving the way for finding partners and participating in the next Erasmus + KA2 projects. The University's project implementation team has made great efforts to learn, participate actively and ensure all progress and commitments in the project. The result is not only an international standard training program developed for the University, an online conference system equipped for the University to connect the training campuses of the university, but the staff capacity is increasingly strong enough to participate in international projects.
