The International Conference on Intelligence of Things (ICIT) is an international conference on the current state of technology and the outcome of ongoing research in Artificial Intelligence, the Internet of Things, Telecommunication Systems, Intelligent Systems, and their applications. Researchers and scientists who are leading industry experts in the world and Vietnam in the fields of IoT, Semiconductors, Artificial Intelligence, and Blockchain participated in the conference.
The delegation of the University of Mining and Geology, led by Prof. Dr. Tran Thanh Hai, the University's rector and Associate Professor, Dr. Le Hong Anh, the Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology, Dr. Nguyen Thi Mai Dung, the Deputy Dean, and lecturers of the Faculty of Information Technology, attended the Conference.
The conference provided a platform for local and international researchers and scientists to present and discuss the latest trends, experiences, and concerns in the field of Intelligence of Things.
The conference was organized into the following tracks and topics: Internet of Things Applications, Intelligence Systems, Connectivity for the Internet of Things, and Internet of Things Technologies.
The conference had the participation of keynote speakers Professor. Kim Joongheon (Korea University) with the topic "Quantum Reinforcement Learning: Concepts, Models and Applications"; Prof. Richard Chbeir (University of Pau and Pays de l'Adour) with the topic "Data Engineering in IoT”; Associate Professor, Dr. Van-Dung Hoang (Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education) with the report topic "Computer Vision and Applications: From CNN to MLP Mixer"; Associate Professor, PhD. Thuy Nguyen (RMIT University) with the topic "Internet for Medical Things: From Mobile App to AI-Powered Computer Aided Medical Diagnosis and Training ".
Sixty-five reports at the conference, selected from hundreds of submissions, will have the opportunity to be published in Lecture Notes on Data Engineering and Communications Technologies, Springer, under the ISI/Scopus category.
As a co-organizer, the University of Mining and Geology actively contributed to the success of the ICIT 2024 Conference. This was also a valuable opportunity to help the University update on the latest technology trends, thereby applying them to teaching, research, and training programs, strengthening the expansion of cooperation and exchanges with universities and domestic and foreign organizations, and improving training quality.
