The working session from the UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta was attended by Dr. Barlian Dwinagara, Head of the Center of Quality Assurance and Learning Advancement, Dr. Mofit Eko Poerwanto, Secretary of the Center, and members of the Center.
From the Hanoi University of Mining and Geology, there were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Hoai Nga, Head of the International Office, Dr. Pham Van Tuan, Head of the Quality Assurance Office, and Dr. Nguyen Thi Lan Huong, Vice Head of the Office, along with experts from the offices.
At the working session, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Hoai Nga presented an overview of the HUMG's development history, scale, training majors, and achievements in the HUMG's educational internationalization. Also in the meeting, Dr. Pham Van Tuan emphasized that quality assurance and accreditation activities have been considered as priorities in HUMG’s plan and strategy to develop and integrate regional and international qualifications in scientific research and academics.
On behalf of the UPN's Center, Dr. Aldin Ardian shared their experience in accreditation the quality of training facilities and contents related to accreditation according to international standards at UPN.
At the meeting, both parties discussed issues related to building and developing the quality assurance system, sharing experiences, learning from each other, and the possibility of cooperation in quality assurance and accreditation activities. The two universities committed to hold regular exchange activities not only in the field of quality assurance and accreditation but also in other activities, such as exchanging lecturers, students, etc., to enhance cooperative activities between the two sides.
