Prof. Bui Xuan Nam, Vice Rector of HUMG, Prof. Trieu Hung Truong, Vice Rector, Prof. Luong Quang Khang Head of Postgraduate Department, other representatives of departments in HUMG, professors and new postgraduates students participated in the event.
On behalf of HUMG, Prof. Luong Quang Khang, Head of Postgraduate Deparment issued the approval from HUMG to new postgraduate students in 2019 (winter semester).
"You can be successful in your own postgraduate program once you prepare yourself a good plan and try your best for your targets", said Prof. Nam to students. He also reminded academic and administrative staff to suppport students during their courses.
Mr. Nguyen Van Tuan, a master student of course of Mining Engineering shared his interests of returning to HUMG for higher education, upgrading his knowledge and skills. However, he also showed his thrills for the program, which lasts in two years with many new knowledge, assignments and duties.
Each year, HUMG receives 5 - 8 Laos students in master and PhD programs, mainly in Mining Engineering and Geosciences. In winter semester 2019, 3 master students from Laos enrolled sucessfully in Mining Engineering and Economic Management. On behalf of Laos students, Mr. Khaosay Vilay Hueang expressed his thanks to HUMG for providing excellent training programs and other infrastructures for their study in Viet Nam.
