The first participants of the Polish language and culture course at HUMG
Attending the opening ceremony, HUMG was pleased to welcome the presence of H. E. Mr Wojciech Gerwel - Ambassador of Republic of Poland to Vietnam and honorable guests: Mr. Maciej Duszyński - Head of Political and Economic Division, Embassy of Poland in Hanoi; Mr. Ho Chi Hung - General Secretary of Vietnam – Poland Friendship Association; Mrs. Sława Duszyńska – Teacher of Polish language and culture; Mrs Lê Kim Anh – Director of Viet-Pol center and all the participants of the course.

Making Polish as an extra course at HUMG has been result of efforts from the Embassy of Poland in Hanoi and HUMG since 2019. Especially, this course is totally free of charge for all learners and all materials and books have been provided by the Embassy of Poland in Hanoi and NAWA.
Ambassador Wojciech Gerwel appreciated the strong engagement and cooperation of HUMG for overcoming the difficulties caused by Covid-19 pandemic to organize the first course of Polish language and culture ever at HUMG. He believed learning the Polish language will enable students to get opportunities to study and work in Poland.

On behalf of HUMG, Prof. Dr Tran Thanh Hai expressed his deepest gratitude to the Embassy of Poland to Vietnam and the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange for their honorable endorsement and support. He wished that the course achieves a great success and contribute to enhance the collaboration between Hanoi University of Mining and Geology and its Polish partners.
The course has been started immediately after the opening ceremony finishing in an enthusiastic environment.
