Mining and environment are critical issues that many nations are focusing on their mutual impacts. Mining just only obtains positive meaning if it assures the sustainability and responsibilities. Therefore, the main themes of the ISRM 2020 are attractive to many stakeholders.
The first ISRM conference is a forum for scientists, technicians and administrations in natural resources, mining, processing and environmental protection to exchange their research, knowledge and experiences towards a sustainable and responsible mining. The conference is a platform of scientists to regarding research networks and opportunities of future collaborations.
The ISRM 2020 attracted more than 150 participants from national universities and research institutes. Fifty international participants committed to join the conference online. 384 papers were submitted, focussing on:
- Sustainable development and responsible mining.
- Earth Sciences and Geo-Spatial Technologies.
- Occupational Safety & Health.
- Industry 4.0 in Mining.
The Science Committee, peer-reviewers and editors of Springers and Inzynieria Mineralna Journal selected 50 qualified papers to be published in 2 proceedings by Springers (Indexed Scopus) and 35 papers in Inzynieria Mineralna - Journal of the Polish Mineral Society (ESCI/ Scopus).

Publications of the ISRM 2020
|
On 15th October 2020, 15 presentations were selected to introduce to the audience. Seven international speakers presented their research results via Webinar. Many international participants joined the conference online from China, Germany, India, Korea, and Russia, etc., altogether with more than 100 academians, scientists, and representatives of industries and organizations on-site.
The Scientific Committe also rewarded 4 excellent papers in fields of Geology, Geospatial, Mining and Occupational Safety and Health. The 2nd International Conference on Innovations of Sustainable and Responsible Mining ISRM 2020 will be organized in 2022.
