From 23 to 27 February 2026, a delegation from Hanoi University of Mining and Geology (HUMG), led by Prof. Dr. Tran Thanh Hai, Rector of the University, participated in the Asia-Pacific Association for International Education (APAIE) Conference and Exhibition 2026 in Hong Kong (China). The event brought together approximately 3,000 delegates from over 70 countries and territories. On October 21–22, 2025, Hanoi University of Mining and Geology (HUMG) organized the 8th International Conference on Scientific and Research Cooperation between Vietnam and Poland (Viet–Pol 2025) in Hanoi. The event was particularly meaningful as it marked the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Poland (1950–2025) and anticipated the 60th anniversary of HUMG (1966–2026), highlighting a long tradition of friendship and academic partnership.
