On April 23, 2025, within the framework of the international trade fair on construction, mining and transport – Contech Vietnam 2025, Hanoi University of Mining and Geology (HUMG) organized a seminar at the National Exhibition Construction Center (NECC), Hanoi. The event brought together numerous scientists, experts, lecturers, and enterprises to exchange knowledge and technologies, and discuss technological solutions, new materials, sustainable geotechnical solutions, and environmental safety in construction, mining, especially in the development of high-speed railway systems

International Seminar with Canadian Experts on Sustainable and Responsible Mining

On March 6, 2025, Hanoi University of Mining and Geology (HUMG) welcomed Madam Louise Michaud – Deputy Minister of Advanced Education of Saskatchewan, Canada, and held in thematic seminar on Sustainable and Responsible Mining. The event was attended by representatives from the Saskatchewan Office in Vietnam, as well as universities from Saskatchewan, including the University of Regina, the University of Saskatchewan, and Saskatchewan Polytechnic.

On December 13, 2024, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen The Vinh - Vice Rector of the Hanoi University of Mining and Geology and representatives of faculties and International Office had a meeting with Mr. Evgeny Mitrofanov - Counselor for Education and Science of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Hanoi and Dr. Anastasiia Mashkova - Director for Development of Integration Policy, National Research University "MPEI" and also representative of Russian - Vietnamese Consortium of technical universities, on the possibility of HUMG joining the consortium and opportunities of further cooperation.

Training of Trainers Workshop on Climate Change Adaptation through Geospatial Digital Data and Earth Observation

Hanoi, October 8, 2024 - A significant Training of Trainers (T.o.T) workshop was successfully held at Hanoi University of Mining and Geology as part of the "Climate Change Adaptation through Geospatial Digital Data and Earth Observation (CADEO)" project. This workshop united experts and faculty from Vietnam and Europe to enhance teaching capacity for the application of advanced geospatial technology in climate change adaptation.

IUT Summer Institute will host researchers from eight countries

Industrial University of Tyumen has become a participant of the Summer Institute Project for faculty members and researchers initiated by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation for the first time. It is planned that from July 29 to August 12, the university will host 25 representatives of universities from China, South Africa, Vietnam, the Philippines, Iraq, Mongolia, Serbia and Nigeria.
