Risk management will be presented as a comprehensive management approach to integrate the management of risks and opportunities at all levels/fields of activity of a company.
The course lasts for approximately 20 hours, with target audience of 20 students at different degrees.
Students should be open and interested to enlarge their engineering skills with economic and general management know-how. The learning targets shall acquire a basic knowledge of Enterprise Risk Management (in general and in mining) with all it's elements and procedures. Application of the acquired knowledge within the framework of the lecture, theory will be accompanied by a practitioner's view. Participatory training methods are used in the course.
Participants who fulfill the attendance will be certified by Hanoi University of Mining and Geology.
Mr. Werner Heinze led the corporate risk management of the German mining group RAG Group for several years, developing, managing and modifying the risk management system. He is currently international lecturer at the Technical University Georg Agricola (THGA). In recent years, he has taught block risk management seminars at partner universities in Thailand, Myanmar, Colombia and Peru.
