The meeting discussed several important topics, including the development of new training content for four new courses aimed at renewing the existing training programs of the participating universities. The four courses being developed are Geospatial Artificial Intelligence, Earth Observation, Geospatial Web-Application, and Digital Twin Earth. The meeting also focused on developing plans for piloting these courses, training instructors and trainers, and dissemination and exploitation of the project results.
During the meeting, representatives from the universities agreed to use the content of the four courses to renew their current training programs in Vietnam. They also aim to expand the training of these courses to external partners and utilize the knowledge gained for scientific research, as well as to transfer technology for climate change adaptation in Vietnam.
The CADEO project, funded by the European Union's Erasmus+ program, involves seven universities and a GIS company, with the aim of enhancing the capacity of universities in Earth observation and geospatial technologies for climate change adaptation.
