The program attracted a large number of students majoring in Industrial Management, particularly those specializing in Industrial Management and Logistics and Supply Chain Management — fields currently undergoing significant transformation driven by digitalization, supply chain restructuring, and sustainable development requirements. The direct participation of international professors in classroom teaching contributed to fostering an open academic environment while enhancing students’ access to updated knowledge and international academic methodologies.

Industrial Management students attended the specialized lecture series delivered by professors from AGH University of Krakow.
The lectures were designed with an updated and practice-oriented approach, focusing on issues currently shaping the global business environment and international policy landscape. The first lecture, “Theories of City Management (Smart City and the 15-Minute City),” presented by Prof. Dr. Dariusz Cichoń, introduced modern approaches to urban governance, emphasizing operational efficiency, connectivity, and human-centered development. This was followed by the lecture “Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) and LCA/LCI Analysis” by Prof. Dr. Dariusz Sala, which provided students with insights into carbon-related trade policies and analytical approaches that are increasingly influencing global production and supply chains.

Prof. Dr. Dariusz Cichoń delivered the lecture on urban management and the “15-minute city” model.
Beyond knowledge transfer, the Q&A sessions following the lectures took place in an active and engaging atmosphere, with students raising numerous questions related to the lecture topics. Through direct discussions with the professors, students had opportunities to clarify academic issues, reinforce newly acquired knowledge, and gradually develop internationally oriented approaches to problem-solving.
Through direct teaching activities with prestigious international partners, students at Hanoi University of Mining and Geology are not only exposed to updated knowledge but are also gradually developing academic mindsets and adaptability for the global working environment. Through internationally oriented specialized lectures, HUMG students are increasingly gaining direct access to the global academic environment within their own classrooms.
AGH University of Krakow is one of HUMG’s strategic partners. Cooperation between the two universities has been developed and strengthened for more than 40 years, achieving notable outcomes in education, scientific research, and knowledge exchange. The direct participation of AGH professors in teaching and academic exchange activities at HUMG once again demonstrated the University’s commitment to deep and sustainable international cooperation, aiming to build a modern educational environment closely aligned with international academic and professional standards.
