Hanoi University of Mining and Geology hosted a student interaction programme with Fachhochschule der Wirtschaft Paderborn, Germany

On March 17, 2026, at Pho Yen Room, Hanoi University of Mining and Geology (HUMG) hosted the HUMG – Fachhochschule der Wirtschaft (FHDW) Paderborn 2026 student interaction programme, welcoming a delegation of postgraduate students from Fachhochschule der Wirtschaft (FHDW) Paderborn, Germany, led by Dr. Thomas Mertens, Head of the MBA Programme.

The programme served as a platform to foster academic exchange, cultural understanding, and institutional collaboration, bringing together students from both institutions in a dynamic and engaging environment.

During the programme, the FHDW Paderborn delegation was introduced to HUMG’s academic profile, including its development trajectory, key disciplinary strengths, and ongoing international cooperation initiatives.

In her remarks, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Hoai Nga, Head of the International Office at HUMG, highlighted the significance of the delegation’s return visit. She noted that the continued engagement reflects a strong and growing partnership between the two institutions. She reaffirmed HUMG’s commitment to expanding international collaboration by welcoming students and scholars from abroad, and by promoting academic interaction, internships, and joint initiatives with German partners in the near future.
