Alumni of HUMG from fileds of Automation, Electromechanics and Electronics have been performing excellently in Display Viet Nam Hai Phong Co., Ltd. (LGDVH) since 2019. This year, LGDVH is recruiting approximately 100 graduates ifrom the same fields to meet the requirement of expanding productive capacity. Therefore, in the workshop with students of HUMG on June 10th, 2020, the representatives of LGDVH introduced to the audience about the professional working environment, occupational safety and health, and attractive benefits of the companies. Many students, even the freshmen and students of the 2nd year attended the workshop, giving questions to the company about working conditions and further training opportunities. Leaders of HUMG also shared their expectation to students to promote their critical thinking, creativeness, and working skills for the development of their careers at LGDVH.

LG Display Vietnam Hai Phong Co., Ltd. is one of subsidiaries of LG Display Co., Ltd., the world's leading in the development and production of OLED panels and has the largest global market share for large-size TFT-LCD panels at 23 percent in 2016.
On June 18th, 2020, the delegation from Nghi Son Refinery and Petrochemical (NSRP), led by Mr. Le Nguyen Quoc Vinh - Deputy General Director, and other managers paid an important visit to HUMG. Prof. Trieu Hung Truong, Vice Rector of HUMG, leaders of the university at administrative offices, deans of Faculties and about 200 students from Faculty of Oil and Gas Faculty, Faculty of Electromechanics, and Advance Training Program attended the event.
As the second refinery and petrochemical manufacturer in Vietnam, NSRP aims to be the top performing and most admired refinery and petrochemical complex in Asia, and heads to be recognized as a world-class competitor in the global energy market. To date, more than 20% of employees in NSRP are alumni from HUMG. In 2019, 18 new graduates became employees at the company. The applicants of 2020 are 30% higher than those of 2019 with higher qualified education and English skills. Therefore, NSRP is expecting to be able to recruit a high number of employees than in 2019.
During the meeting, leaders of HUMG and NRSP were discussing about opportunities to tighten the mutual collaboration. Tailor-made training programs, laboratory equipment sponsorship, scholarships for students, and orientation excursions are the main points of the dicussion.
