Within framework of the ASEAN Network for Green Entrepreneurship and Leadership (ANGEL) project, Hanoi University of Mining and Geology has successfully implemented a short-term training program for trainers on Green Entrepreneurship and Green Leadership from May 9th, 2023, to May 11th, 2023.

The purpose of this training course is to introduce and shape the concept and mindset of "Green" in the development and operation processes of the future enterprises and business for students at Hanoi University of Mining and Geology, who will become future entrepreneurs and leaders.

The training program has equipped participants with knowledge related to Green Entrepreneurship and Leadership, including financial management and seeking funding for sustainable development. Additionally, the program introduces opportunities for green entrepreneurship and green leadership within the ASEAN region. This helps participants broaden their understanding and prepare them to face the challenges and opportunities in this field.

The curriculum has been standardized by a group of scientists within the ANGEL project, and the training process involves the participation of professors and lecturers from the European University Cyprus, an experienced institution in training for Green Leadership and Green Entrepreneurship.

At the end of the training program, participants demonstrated creativity and implemented the development of "Green" business ideas. Through discussions, they also made proposals for incorporating the "Green" mindset and philosophy into the training programs at Hanoi University of Mining and Geology. The goal is to educate entrepreneurs and businesses based on the "Green" philosophy, contributing to the sustainable development of the business community.

Hanoi University of Mining and Geology is committed to actively promoting sustainable and greener development within the training programs in the university. Content related to Green Entrepreneurship, Green Leadership, and sustainable development will be integrated into the university's training programs to equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge to drive green and sustainable development in the future.
