An overview of the meeting

Under the agreement, the two institutions agreed to pursue several areas of cooperation, including faculty, researcher and student exchanges; joint educational and research activities; specialised lectures and academic exchanges; and the development of language programmes and short-term courses. Located in Henan Province, China, Zhengzhou Vocational College of Finance and Taxation is a vocational higher education institution offering programmes in finance, accounting, e-commerce and logistics. These fields are closely related to programmes in economics and business administration at HUMG, providing a foundation for faculty and student exchanges and further academic cooperation.

During the meeting, the two sides focused on a proposal to offer specialised Chinese language courses in e-commerce and logistics for students from HUMG and neighbouring universities. The initiative would help translate the agreement's focus on language learning combined with vocational skills into practical learning opportunities, enabling students to strengthen their Chinese language proficiency for academic and professional purposes.

The agreed areas of cooperation and proposed initiatives provide a basis for developing educational activities, academic exchanges and links with businesses, helping to link international cooperation more closely with students' educational needs and professional practice.
