First Announcement and Call for paper for International Conference on Earth Sciences and Sustainable Geo-resources Development (ESASGD 2016)

In 2016, the Hanoi University of Mining and Geology (HUMG) reachs a special milestone – the celebration of 50th aniversary of its founding and achievements. After 50 years of relentless efforts, HUMG has emerged as a leading institution in Vietnam for higher education, training and scientific research in various fields of Earth Sciences such as geology, mining, geomatics engineering (surveying and mapping), oil and gas exploration and production, environmental engineering and other scientific disciplines such as electro-mechanics, information technology, business management.

The 50^th Anniversary of the HUMG foundation will be marked by International Conferences with a special focus on  “Earth Sciences and Sustainable Geo-resources Development” (ESASGD 2016), which will be held in Hanoi on 14^th November 2016.

The Organizing Committee of the ESASGD 2016 is honoured to invite you to participate and contribute to the success of this remarkable event. We do hope that the ESASGD 2016 will provide an excellent environment for scientists, specialists and managers from Vietnam and other countries to exchange ideas and present latest research outcomes on different areas related to Earth sciences and Geo-resources development.

         GAG field trip: 16 ^th and 17^th of November, 2016 in Halong Bay and Catba Island.

         GIS IDEAS field trip: 16^th of November, 2016 in Sapa (Lao Cai) or Campha (Quang Ninh)

Conference Fees

         Registration fees:

            - Professional participant: USD 100.00

                      - Student: USD 50.00 (Need to submit student status prove)

        Travel expense, accommodation and other expenses must be covered by participants

         Field trip fees:

           - EMMA: USD 40.00

           - GAG: USD 150.00

           - GIS IDEAS: USD 40.00

         The payment type: fees will be paid by cash on the registration desk.

         Abstract submission deadline: 30^th of May 2016

         Notification of abstract acceptance and invitation for full paper submission: 15^th of June, 2016

         Full paper submission deadline:  30^th of August, 2016

         Program announcement: 30^th of September, 2016

         Registration: 30^th of October, 2016

Submission Requirements

The participant who wants to give presentation at the conference and publish the paper in the conference’s proceedings must submit the abstract before 30^th of May 2016 by email (either email of the Organizing Committee of the ESASGD 2016 or email of specific session that you wish to attend).

The abstract shall not exceed 500 words in length and should clearly include the Title, author’s name, official address. The Organizing Committee will inform author if the abstract is selected to present in the conference before 15^th of June, 2016 and the full paper should be submitted before 30^th of August, 2016.
