CBES2-2018 attracted a variety of scholars and researchers from different universities, institutions across Vietnam such as Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (VAST), University of Science and Technology of Hanoi (USTH), Hanoi National University of Education (HNUE), VNU University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Hanoi Metropolitan University, Quy Nhơn University (QNU), Electric Power University (EPU) and others. On behalf of the Univesity, Prof. Tran Thanh Hai, Vice Rector of Hanoi University of Mining and Geology welcomed distinguished speakers and guests of the Conference.
In CBES2-2018, among 80 presentations at the conference, 40 reviewed full papers were chosen to be published in the Jounal of Military Science and Technology. The rest was published in the Proceeding of the Conference.
In the Plenary Session, three presentations from famous keynote speakers Assoc.Prof. Vu Dinh Lam, Assoc.Prof. Dinh Thi Mai Thanh and Prof. Nguyen Duc Hung, VAST proposed feasible solutions to ground-breaking researches on basic sciences, which attracted the scientists’ interests. The three parallel sessions including Session on Physis and Materials Science; Session on Chemistry and Environment; Session on Maths, Applied Mechanics were focusing on the latest publications of the scientists, researchers from universities and research institutions with the purpose of sharing experience and connecting basic sciences with earth sciences. Poster presentations from 27 groups of researchers were also given at the hall.
CBES2-2018 also witnessed the cooperation among universities, research institutions in different fields, creating new forums for both novice and experienced reseachers across the country. The success of the conference also confirms the position of HUMG in science and technology’s activities.
