From June 12, 2023 to June 18, 2023, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Xuan Truong – Secretary of the University’s Party Committee, Chairman of the University Council, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Trieu Hung Truong - Vice Rector the Hanoi University of Mining and Geology and Directorate Board of the Center for Foreign Languages and Informatics HUMG had a business trip to visit and work with the National Committee of Chinese (NCC) and 5 universities and institutes in China.
Installation of a high-rate (50 Hz) GNSS receiving station at HUMG to monitor the ionosphere in the region of Hanoi

With the general objective of promoting cooperation in Earth's atmospheric research based on measurements from the Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS), the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences and the Hanoi University of Mining and Geology (HUMG) have signed a scientific cooperation agreement. According to the agreement, both parties will collaborate to establish a high-rate (50 Hz) GNSS receiving station at HUMG.
